Hi, My name is Mayank Kumar, aka “markmemayank”, I am a WordPress enthusiast since I first used WordPress in 2020 when I was just 17 years old. I am the founder of a Web Agency Web Wallah. I am running two Ed-tech startups JNVST Prep and CSHUB, since 2021. I believe that open-source tech and the open web have the potential to make the world a better place. I am an expert in Web Design & Development, Social Media Management, Content writing & Graphic Design.

WordPress Origin Story

I used to design websites by using Webnode and Wix when I was in class 8th. In November of 2019, when I was just 17 years old, I learned about WordPress, and I moved from all other platforms to WordPress, which completely changed my life. I was always a tech-lover, so WordPress was something for me.

Being a tech enthusiast, WordPress resonated with me on a next level. I began writing tutorials on WordPress, crafting websites for my clients, and actively contributing to the community. This platform has become more than just a tool for me; it’s a vital part of my journey in the tech and web development.

In 2022, I embarked on an exciting journey into WordCamps. My WordCamp journey began when I attended WordCamp Nagpur 2022 as a Media Partner. This event marked the starting point of my involvement with the vibrant WordPress community. 

How am I contributing in the WordPress Community?

I received so much from the WordPress community and I wants to give back as much as I can. So, I started contributing back to the community in various methods. Currently, I am one of the organisers of WordPress Delhi Community and leading the community in every possible way.

My enthusiasm for assisting others and contributing significantly has helped me advance in my WordPress experience. I was selected as a Photo Moderator while also expanding my WordPress expertise.

With each milestone, I have grown as a WordPress enthusiast, and I look forward to many more years of contributing to this dynamic and ever-evolving ecosystem.
